Lifestyle diseases such as obesity, diabetes, heart attack, hyperlip idaemia, hypertension and cancer etc are common in today's world. Less exercise, more of sitting jobs, environmental hazards, unsafe drinking water and unhealthy eating habits has taken a form of epidemic disease. The calorie intake must be equal to the calorie expenditure in order to remain fit and healthy. The major epidemic diseases are:

Cardiovascular Disease: The disease has bad functionality of heart, arteries, and veins that supply oxygen to vital life-sustaining areas of the body like Brain, Heart, and other vital organs. In absence of the oxygen the organs will not survive and die. Heart attack is one of the major reason of the deaths in today's busy and complex life. According to WHO studies, Every one person out of five has heart disease. The major reason for these diseases are Cardiovascular Disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, physical inactivity, excess drinking and smoking, stress and instability in personal and professional life are few major causes for Cardiovascular Disease.

The consumption of fruits, vegetables, staple diet and 20 minutes daily walk are the best prevention steps from Cardiovascular Disease. Every person must consume low fat and increase the consumption of vegetarian diet with an additional effort by discontinuing the practice of smoking and stress management which will result into a balanced healthy life with less chances of having Cardiovascular Disease. Drinking more and more water with smile on your face will help you to stay healthy and young.

Cancer: Cancer is the second main cause of deaths in the world after Heart Disease. According to the American Association, every year there is a tremendous increase in cancer patient and within next five years from now cancer will surpass heart disease as the leading cause of death. One out of every six person across the world has cancer symptoms making cancer an expensive funeral. There are more than 200 types of cancer which affects our body tissues. Up to 10% of cancers are hereditary. Other major cause of cancer is the lack of oxygen i.e. de-oxygenation. Excess smoking and drinking is also a major reason of Cancer in today's life.

Though cancer is a non curable disease yet one-third of all the Cancers cases are curable, if got diagnosed in its initial phase. Consumption of Tobacco is a major reason of Cancer among masses. The consumption leads to the cancer of oral cavity, larynx, oesophagus and stomach making it a major cause of death. Consumption of anti-oxidants is the most effective prevention of cancer. Infectious agents are responsible for almost 22% of cancer deaths in the developing world and 6% in industrialized countries, so one must try to have good and healthy food which increases immune system making you strong against these agents. Avoid excessive exposure, use of sunscreen and protective clothing are effective preventive measures from UV-rays and ultra radiation. Regular physical activity and a check on body weight along with healthy diet, will considerably reduce cancer risk. Talking over phone for longer period of time also leads to skin cancer because of radiation so one must minimize the communication over the phone.
