They are available in the form of pills, capsules, powders and liquids. They are additional resources of nutrients to provide nourishment to your body. They are suggested to consume only when you need an additional supplement diet.

Dietary supplements generally include Vitamins and Minerals required by your body in small amount but they are necessary components for normal growth, function and health. They are helpful if you do not get nutritious and balanced diet. Dietary supplements can't replicate all of the nutrients and benefits of whole foods, such as fruits and vegetables.

Diet supplement does not diagnose, cure, treat, or prevent disease. They just contribute in health maintenance and fitness. They provide essential vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that you may not be getting from your diet since most of us do not take balanced diet.

The consumption of diet pills for longer duration of time results into serious disease and problems like serious and potentially fatal side effects because of serious effect on nervous system.
